Tessa Farria is entering her senior year of high school at the International School of Manila (ISM)

Throughout high school, Tessa has worked to advocate for what she believes in. In conjunction with the Ukrainian consulate in the Philippines, Tessa designed and marketed t-shirts that raised over $ 700 for victims of the Russian invasion.

During the spring of her sophomore and junior years, Tessa assisted several underfunded local Filipino school communities by helping with curriculum preparation, refurbishing facilities, and raising funds through various charity sales. Tessa is also on the Pride and Respect at International School of Manila (PRISM) council. In this capacity, she has coordinated school-wide celebrations and charity sales in support of the LGBTQ+ community in Manila.

Tessa speaks English, Russian, and French. She is eager to apply her passion for advocacy and equal rights to support Oklahoma’s Muslim community.
