Representative George E. Young, Sr.
Reverend Doctor George E. Young, Sr. was born in Memphis, Tenn. He retired from 30 years of Pastoral service in 2013. Dr. Young was elected to the Oklahoma State House of Representative in 2015. Dr. Young is the author of “Christology: A Look At Practical Christianity.” He was selected to attend the Center for the Advancement of Leadership Skills in Little Rock, sponsored by the Southern Legislative Conference. He was invited and attended the Medicaid Leadership Policy Academy in Washington, DC and the follow up Advanced Academy, sponsored by the Council of State Governments. He is a Certified Mediation Specialist in Family and Divorce issues. He received his undergraduate degree from Lambuth University in Jackson, Tennessee. He continued his education receiving a Masters of Arts in Ministry from Oklahoma Christian University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, a Master of Divinity Degree from Phillips Theological Seminary, Tulsa, Oklahoma, graduating Cum Laude, and a Master of Business Administration from Oklahoma Christian University in December of 2006 and completed his Doctorate of Ministry from Phillips Theological Seminary in 2010. He is the CEO of Young Management Consulting, a mediation and nonprofit management and leadership development firm.
Representative Jason Lowe
On Friday, June 19th from the steps of the Oklahoma Capitol, Jason Lowe announced his run as a candidate for the Oklahoma State House of Representatives in District 97. Facing a crowd of several supporters, the community leader and philanthropist promised to fight for legislature that would encourage, empower and educate the community he loves. “This community is the heartbeat of our culture. It is a community I greatly admire and appreciate. It is with great honor and respect that I approach this opportunity. It has been led by great men. I promise, if elected, to represent House District 97 with integrity, distinction and reverence. I know it’s possible to create better tomorrows and that begins in legislature. My goal is to make a meaningful difference in the community,” says Jason Lowe. Jason Lowe resides in Spencer and attends Fifth Street Missionary Baptist Church. He received his Bachelors of Art in Political Science at Virginia State University and continued his education at Oklahoma City University School of Law. He began his career as a public defender in Oklahoma City.
Representative Forrest Bennett
Forrest Bennett is currently the State Representative in House District 92. He’s an educator, and an Oklahoman that’s deeply devoted to bettering the state. Forrest began his professional career working with the legislature and knows firsthand the difference one person can make at the Capitol. After working to increase parent involvement and advocating for Oklahoma City Public Schools, Forrest chose to dedicate his time to the classroom, teaching American Government at OU. As an Oklahoma state representative, Forrest works to improve public education, strengthen neighborhoods, create jobs, and honor the senior citizens of Oklahoma.
