Biography

Tom Cole is the U.S. representative for Oklahoma’s 4th Congressional District, serving since 2003. Tom Cole has consistently supported conservative policies and actions throughout his political career. He backed President Donald Trump’s 2017 executive order imposing a temporary ban on entry to the U.S. for citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries. In January 2021, Cole voted against the certification of the Electoral College results for the 2020 presidential election and later relinquished an honorary degree from Grinnell College. He opposed the creation of a bipartisan commission to investigate the January 6 insurrection and signed an amicus brief in 2021 seeking to overturn Roe v. Wade, celebrating the Supreme Court’s decision to overrule it in 2022. Additionally, Cole voted to support Israel following the 2023 Hamas attack.
