Survey Issues

1. What do you feel should be the government’s role in public health and welfare?

The law should guarantee a free market in medical care, prohibiting monopolies and cartels

2. What are your views on individuals being able to safely and securely access sensitive medical procedures in privacy and without state control?

If you are referring to Abortion proceduers, I am Pro-Choice, but for a particular reason – that of property rights. Since each of us – both men and women – own our own bodies and have soverieign control of what happens within our skin, it follows that every woman is the owner of the eggs she carries in her reproductive organs. If a man deposits his sperm into a woman, the law should recognize this as a gift, freely given – how could it be otherwise? – and those sperm become her property. Since a woman owns her eggs and the sperm which might fertilize them, she also owns whatever fetus results from this fertilization. As long as it is within her body, it belongs to her. It does not become a legal person until it is born and breathing on its own.  Women take pregnancy very seriously, and for good reason. There are at least a dozen complications that could cause her death. I regard the outlaw of abortifacients and birth control as vain and atavistic attempts to control and suppress women’s sexual desire and enforce female chastity by law.

3. What changes would you make to ensure every Oklahoman has the chance to participate meaningfully in the electoral process?

I see no need for any changes. If you can point to any Oklahoma citizens who have been denied the right to vote, I’d like to meet them.

4. Currently, only one political party in Oklahoma allows Independent voters to participate in primary elections. What will you do to ensure that all registered voters are able to fully express their political preferences?

Political parties are composed of private groups of people combined to promote a particular political agenda. In order to ensure that their candidates adhere to that agenda, they may restrict voting in primary elections to only party members. This is natural and just.

5. Research from Pew Research Center indicates that “the role of money in politics” is consistently one of the top concerns of American voters across the ideological spectrum. What will you do to address this growing issue?

I would seek to eliminate the anonymous donations to political campaigns via SuperPacs. If I am to be bombarded with psycho-babble telling me who or what to vote for or reject, I want know who’s behind it.

6. Many Oklahomans experience discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, and other factors; how would you address these problems as an elected leader?

I disagree. Show me these Oklahomans who are denied rights for any reason.

7. How will you ensure that First Amendment rights to freedom of religion, speech, protest, and press are protected from infringement?

As a Legislator, by voting against any law that violates those rights.

8. What issues do you see in our criminal legal system that could be reformed to be more equitable and efficient?

Make it a felony for any prosecutor or their law enforcement entity to withhold exculpatory evidence in a criminal trial. Make anyone serve two years as a defense lawyer before being able to serve as a judge. Ban private prisons. Make it a felony for any government employee to invest and profit from private prisons.

9. What measures would you take to address food insecurity in Oklahoma?

Retire the Federal Reserve banking cartel that is strangling our economy with inflation and institute a treasury-based stable currency that is key to prosperity.

10. How would you protect people renting in Oklahoma from predatory landlords and expand affordable housing options in our state?

It has come to my attention that there are quite a few apartment complexes in various metro areas that frequently lack the basics of living – heating, cooling, hot and cold water, and even, sometimes, electricity and sewer service. Often enough these properties are owned by absentee Corporate landlords. There are already laws on the books to prevent these things from happening. It is time to enforce them by subjecting absentee landlords to criminal prosecution.
