Survey Issues
Public Health
- What do you feel should be the government’s role in public health and welfare?
- Government stay out of my healthcare and decisions. Welfare should be taken on by the role private charitable/religious organizations. The government if anything, should be working hard to get everyone on their own two feet and off the welfare system.
- What are your views on individuals being able to safely and securely access sensitive medical procedures in privacy and without state control?
- I guess I have no issue with it. If it is being funded by their own wallets and they wish to pursue these procedures (I am not sure what that might be?), then more power to them. As long as the procedures do not cause harm or termination of a life, I assume they are safe.
Voting
- What changes would you make to ensure every Oklahoman has the chance to participate meaningfully in the electoral process?
- I want to make the voter ID registration process as streamlined and SECURE as possible. Whatever changes need to be made to ensure that, I will be all for it.
- Currently, only one political party in Oklahoma allows Independent voters to participate in primary elections. What will you do to ensure that all registered voters are able to fully express their political preferences?
- I would assume a study may need to be done, but Independent voters absolutely deserve the right to vote in every election.
- Research from Pew Research Center indicates that “the role of money in politics” is consistently one of the top concerns of American voters across the ideological spectrum. What will you do to address this growing issue?
- I am onboard for limiting the spending in a political campaign can do, looking to campaign finance law reform, and putting limits/larger restrictions on big money involved.
Discrimination and Civil Rights
- Many Oklahomans experience discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, and other factors; how would you address these problems as an elected leader?
- I would like to see the proof to this claim that “many Oklahomans” experience
discrimination. I will not go along with this accusation, when all my life I have seen no widespread discrimination, if I had, I would have called it out myself and addressed it. It is time we move on from this race baiting, and promote overall opportunity to all. That can be done through cutting taxes for all, getting our education system into stellar shape for all children to succeed, and honestly, just helping out our neighbors because that is the kind of State we want to be.

- How will you ensure that First Amendment rights to freedom of religion, speech, protest, and press are protected from infringement?
- I will always be a champion for our First Amendment rights. That means we must ALWAYS safeguard our Constitution first and foremost. The less the government is involved in our Liberty the better. We must have upright judges and a judicial system that understands our Constitution and its history fully. And honestly, We the People must always stand guard when our rights are violated.
Criminal Justice
- What issues do you see in our criminal legal system that could be reformed to be more equitable and efficient?
Anti-Poverty
- What measures would you take to address food insecurity in Oklahoma?
- Again, we want no one to be malnourished, but we also don’t want our government solving all our problems. We are citizens and neighbors must work to take care of those in need. I will listen to those who have solutions for address food insecurity, but government cannot be the sole solution in this area.
- How would you protect people renting in Oklahoma from predatory landlords and expand affordable housing options in our state?
- Education. This is a very big concern and the best thing we can do first off, is prepare young people to how to handle finances and how to be responsible in their spending. Learning to manage your money early in life, work hard and save up, can go a long way to ensure our next generation can afford a livelihood of their own, and not be under the thumb of those preying on the financially struggling person. I am a huge advocate for free enterprise and capitalism, and to me, the best way to make sure these businesses do not get out of hand, is educating our young people to make smart financial choices now before they become enslaved to a life of renting or borrowing money.
