Biography

Born in Idabel, Eddy Dempsey’s family has long been a part of the fabric of this area. Eddy’s grandfather built the first grocery store in Garvin where Eddy worked while growing up. He is a graduate of Valliant High School and Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

Eddy Dempsey’s commitment to southeastern Oklahoma runs deep, and he will protect our values, schools and water. He also understands the economic benefit brought to our region by tribes. Eddy will fight against the big Oklahoma City politicians who seek to rob us of our resources.

Eddy Dempsey loves America, and he supports Donald Trump’s belief in putting our country first. Eddy will use his office to always support the U.S. and our Constitution. He will be a part of the #MAGA team to Make America Great Again, and will bring the same commitment to keep southeastern Oklahoma strong and vital.
