Biography

Christi Gillespie is running for Senate District 33. She is currently the vice mayor of the city of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. On the Broken Arrow City Council, Christi Gillespie has utilized her business expertise to push for the revitalization of south Broken Arrow, including New Orleans Square, the Aspen Ridge Development, as well as the Innovation District. In the Oklahoma State Senate, she will continue working to improve economic opportunities for Oklahoma’s families, especially in the technology sector. Proven by her municipal voting record, Christi Gillespie is proud to stand beside Oklahoma’s law enforcement officers and other first responders. In the State Senate, she will continue the effort she started on the City Council to bring public safety districts to Broken Arrow and other communities. She will continue her work to empower parents to always have the final say in their children’s education; while also working to ensure every Oklahoma classroom has a fantastic teacher. In the State Senate, Christi will work to ensure that Northeastern State University-BA becomes a true 4-year university. Gillespie will also protect the rights to keep and bear arms, worship, and speak our minds. A staunch defender of the unborn, Gillespie will fight to make Oklahoma the most pro-life state in the nation.
