Biography

Missy is dedicated to helping children, she has worked as a probation counselor at the Juvenile Bureau in Tulsa County, volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for abused and neglected children in Kansas, and served as Vice President of CASA, an organization focused on helping children who have been removed from their homes. Missy’s dedication to service was instilled in her from an early age by her Dad, Julian Fite, who was a First Lieutenant in the Army during the Vietnam era, served as District Attorney for Muskogee County, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Oklahoma and served as General Counsel for the Cherokee Nation.

Missy’s experience working with children in Oklahoma coupled with her upbringing in service has taught her the importance of being involved and working for her community. Now that her daughters are adults and she and Richard sold their business, she is focusing all of her attention on making the voices of House District 86 heard at the capitol.
