CAIR Oklahoma is proud to welcome our interns for the Spring 2013 semester! Each semester our interns gain experience in the areas of Civil Rights, Communication, Outreach, Media, and Government Affairs. In addition, our interns always utilize their talents and experiences to help enhance the mission and vision of CAIR Oklahoma throughout our state. Rayna Jeter
Rayna Jeter is a sophomore undergraduate student at the University of Oklahoma. She is double-majoring in public affairs & administration and letters with a minor in non-profit organizational studies. Jeter is originally from Woodward, Oklahoma and graduated with honors from Woodward high school. She is interested in interning with CAIR Oklahoma because she is seeking non-profit experience and experience working with an organization that will expose her to different faiths and the interfaith community of Oklahoma. Jeter is an avid rock climber and vice-president of ‘Our Earth’ club at the University of Oklahoma.
Carissa Flint
Carissa Flint is a senior at Oklahoma City University majoring in World Religions. She has lived in Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Chicago, IL. Flint’s experience in the places she has lived has given her a passion for interfaith work and international affairs. In additional, Flint has a personal obsession with traveling to far away places and experiences new cultures. She is excited to be interning with CAIR Oklahoma and hopes to help extend the influence of CAIR Oklahoma across the state and promote awareness of Islam and its magnificent culture and history here in America.
