Kate Bierman

Biography

Kate Bierman is a former City Councilwoman and small business owner who has the experience to advocate for better policy at the State Capitol. Through her post-college work in Constituency Services, Kate saw the importance of transparency and accessible services. Kate’s passion to help led her to get involved with local organizations in Norman and eventually to run for City Council. On Council, Kate addressed the most pressing issues impacting the daily lives of her neighbors while also raising a family and running several small businesses in core Norman. Through her work, Kate saw firsthand that government can work for the people when the right resources are available. However, the state continues to pass policies preventing local governments from addressing real issues. Now Kate is taking the fight to our State Capitol. As your State Representative, Kate Bierman will advocate for better policy to help build better communities.
